Roadcraft bugs are the 'cure' to my obsession

Well, it had to happen. My time with Roadcraft is over for now, as I once again ended up succumbing to one of the game's many, many bugs.

So I'd got quite far into one level, had spent an awful lot of time building roads, completing main and side missions, and building a perfect bridge into a steel beam plant. The next mission was up, to provide a generator for said Beam Plant - but because vehicles were parked in the spot where the generator spawns at the start of the mission, it spawned.....about 1000ft up in the sky!

There it was on the map, taunting me. "Here I am, come and get me and deliver me to my destination" - WHAT WITH? ROADCRAFT DOES NOT HAVE ANY SODDING HELICOPTERS!!!

I'd encountered situations like this before. Items 'glued' into the scenery that were immovable, and usually only cropping up once you'd got far enough into a level that 'resetting' (the only method currently available to sort out bugs like this) would be annoying and mean a lot of repeated work.

Other times random weirdness would crop up (anyone who drives the tracked sand-dumper truck through water will know what I mean, that sucker LOVES to leap into the air spasmodically when you try to do so). A lot of the time I'd just shrug these bugs off and persevere or take the kick in the teeth of resetting the level, but in this latest case I just couldn't find the heart to. It is boiling hot here at the moment, and the frustration of it all just got to me so I rage quit, and kicked off a new session with Need for Speed Unbound again (because dang, I really needed something a bit more fast paced after spending nearly 1000 hours playing something as 'slow' as Roadcraft).

I know I'll be back, I know that Saber will probably patch the game again (quite soon, as there's another bunch of DLC due). But maaan that pissed me off so much.
